Dear MNLL Families,
After last night's board meeting there are unfortunately not a lot of updates to post. Little League International has not given any other updates beyond opening Little League for play on May 11th. However, we still must follow the rules set forth by the State of Oregon for physical distancing and so far we are not allowed to have gatherings over 10 people. That regulation has not been lifted or changed as of now.
That being said, we have no plan in place for resuming play or what that will look like. The season is not canceled, but at this point there is nothing we can do to solidify that we are playing or not playing due to regulations.
Unfortunately we are still in a holding pattern at this time. The board has decided to reconvene the week of May 4th for further decision making. We understand the uncertainty is hard for families, coaches and volunteers. We wish we had more answers to give. We wish we could say "Play Ball!"
We are extending the refund request date to April 30th.
Thank you for your patience. We are as frustrated as you not being able to move forward with a solid plan. Hoping everyone is staying well at this time.
Here are your options once again:
1. "Strike Out" Option: Request a full refund. Player will be removed from their team and can not be re-registered. No further registrations will take place this year. If you paid a registration fee and a fundraiser opt-out fee you will be refunded the entire amount (or you can choose to donate your fundraiser opt-out fee, tax deductible receipt will be given). Refunds will be given in check form and will be processed as quickly as possible.
2. "Rain Delay" Option: Leaves registration fee in place and will afford the following options A) Play the 2020 Spring season if we are able and OR B) use it as credit for Spring 2021 Season *League Age 13 year old's will receive a refund in full if no season*.
3. "Home Run" Option: Leaves registration fee in place and offers two options: A) Play the 2020 Spring Season if we are able to OR B) Donate your fee to MNLL to help operating costs through the next year if we do not play. Player will need to pay again for Spring 2021 Season. Donors will be issued a tax deductible receipt.
On behalf of the MNLL Board,
